International Mother Language Day


Today is international mother language day. Govt of Kerala conducted a celebration for mother language day in pattom girls.So we reached today early in college at 8 am. We filled baloons, made decorative works in auditorium and decorated paths from school gate to auditorium.Minister Shivan kutti inagurated the function and Welcome speech was by Jeevan babu IAS. The program started at 11 am and ended in 11.40 am.
 At 12 PM we went for canteen duty. It ends only in 1.30pm.Then we gathered in auditorium and observed karatte  class provided to high school students. The class was offered by trivandrum corporation. It is a 10 days training program.The training was given by Abdul rahman sir. Around 42 students were present in the class. The word karatae is a japanese word which means empty hand. Sir also discussed health benefits of doing karate. The program ended at 3pm.
Then we signed attendance and left school.

innovative model

Innovative teaching is the process of proactively introducing new teaching strategies and methods into the classroom. Innovative teaching aids are used for this purpose. Innovative model I prepared is based on the topic animal cell. The model was presented into the class after giving students a brief account on plant cell, various cell organelles and it's function. Then students are asked to identify the parts on the basis of hints given . The model  was effective and efficient in checking the understandingof students regarding the topic.

Humans can sustain in this world only through interactions. Interaction can be made to other humans, to other living creatures and so on. It adds values to life and make mind more potential with wider thinking. Today we had a very active interactive session and group discussion on topic misuse of internet and how a teacher can prevent it. There were 6 groups and I belonged to 5th one. We discussed and come across various misuses of internet like plagiarism, pornography, phishing, cheating,money theft through games and so on.
