Orientation day-3

18th November 2021
Today is the orientation day -3. The day starts with a prayer at our college  followed by the class of Benedict sir, Sir said many valuable points which must be noted and learned by a teacher. One sentence he taught which attracted me most is"Before you teach your students, learn your learner".yes the prime role of a teacher is to understand his students.Sir also said that a teacher must be a mentor, a social engineer and a factor of change in society. 

 The second session was taken by joju sir and it was very much interesting. He sing songs for us. Sir gived us idea about presenting speech in front of audience through a demo. He shared some life experience which is heart touching.He also asked any student in the class to sing a song and the session ended with the song of Kavya from English optional. 


After lunch we had a class of Maya teacher. It was a very interesting class. She taught us application of education. Teacher also teached us the three important impacts or changes that can be brought through education. They are psychomotor, cognitive and emotional.Teacher also added the words of greek philosopher Socrates-

innovative model

Innovative teaching is the process of proactively introducing new teaching strategies and methods into the classroom. Innovative teaching aids are used for this purpose. Innovative model I prepared is based on the topic animal cell. The model was presented into the class after giving students a brief account on plant cell, various cell organelles and it's function. Then students are asked to identify the parts on the basis of hints given . The model  was effective and efficient in checking the understandingof students regarding the topic.

Humans can sustain in this world only through interactions. Interaction can be made to other humans, to other living creatures and so on. It adds values to life and make mind more potential with wider thinking. Today we had a very active interactive session and group discussion on topic misuse of internet and how a teacher can prevent it. There were 6 groups and I belonged to 5th one. We discussed and come across various misuses of internet like plagiarism, pornography, phishing, cheating,money theft through games and so on. We also discussed about safety measures like spreading awareness, engage students in more fruitful works, use two factor authentication, taking strong passwords, prevent clicking unknown links, avoid connecting with unknown wifi and so on.  After discussion maya maa'm taught us qualities and competancies of teacher, we went through physical, mental health, emotional stability, IQ, EQ, SQ and so on.
